Fringe
I didn’t catch the preview for The Fringe that was shown at San Diego Comic-Con. I was probably being overwhelmed by the crowds and the people invading my personal space.
I’m kinda glad I did though. When I finally sat down at home and caught it, I could concentrate on the fun.
The Fringe stars Australian actress Anna Trov as Olivia Dunham, an FBI agent who stumbles into a dark world of fringe science while trying to save her partner who is effected . She blackmails Peter Bishop (Joshua Jackson) into helping her get in contact with his mad-scientist father, Dr. Walter Bishop.
The series definately has touches of X-Files, but with no Scully. Olivia jumps whole heartedly into trusting the very sweet, but mad Dr. Biship. Peter Biship plays devil’s advocate but gives into helping Olivia and his father. You know, cuz he’s a genius. Just not crazy like his dad.
I have to admit, I loved Lost but eventually stopped watching. I never watched Felicity or Alias often enough to form an opinion. I’m up to watching more, though. I mean, sweet crazy guy? I’m in!
