Special Shoes?

by ardith

In my never ending quest for knowledge (read: surfing the internet), I have fallen on to some interesting subjects.

I’ve more than broken in my NewBalance shoes. Now I’m looking for something to replace them. I have tiny, wide feet. Like a hobbit. Well, hobbit feet aren’t tiny. At 5’1″, I think my 6 1/2 wide-sized feet are fine. Ok, I’ve had comments that both my hands and feet look oddly like dolls hands and feet. And sometimes it creeps people out (even myself)…. *cries*

ANYWAY, I stumbled upon a shoe trend. Shoes that help you lose weight. I wonder if I should believe it. Both FitFlops and these MBT Shoespromise you will change the way you walk and in turn change your muscles and help you tone and hawt-ify your legs. Ok, so they didn’t use “hawt-ify,” but that’s what they seem to do.I personally think you can wear the sneakers with more of my outfits than the FitFlops. I’m a jeans/t-shirt/sweaters type of girl. Sure, I like pink and blue, but I comfort is very important.

But, I don’t normally spend more than $30 on shoes. Maybe $60 on some sneakers. Am I too cheap? There are some women (and men) who spend hundreds on shoes, even thousands. I’d rather buy something fun… like a video game.

Well, footwear is really important. And after reading reviews of both of these shoes and doing some more research, I might pick one of them up. I mean, if it can hawt-ify your legs AND lessen back pain and stuff…. That’s really priceless.

So if you see me walking funny, it might be my shoes.
